About Me:

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here and taking steps toward meaningful change.

Is your child struggling with big feelings, anxiety, or challenging behaviors? Maybe your teen feels stuck in sadness, stress, or frustration. You’re not alone. Many parents wonder how to best support their child when things feel overwhelming.

I provide counseling for children ages 5 and up, as well as tweens, teens, and adults. I have a special focus on supporting neurodivergent youth as well as adults looking for a creative space to nurture their mental health. My goal is to create a warm, accepting space where clients can express emotions, build confidence, and feel truly understood.

With younger children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy and AutPlay Therapy, both of which are developmentally appropriate approaches that support emotional processing and coping skill development through play. Since children often express themselves most naturally through play, this creates a safe and effective path for healing and growth. The play therapy process may also support the development of a child’s self-worth, identity exploration, and self-advocacy.

With ages 12 and up, I blend talk therapy with creative tools like art, mindfulness, sand tray, and therapeutic games to support emotional insight and engagement. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and personalized. Whether through play, creative expression, or reflective conversation, I aim to help clients deepen self-awareness and strengthen their ability to cope with life’s challenges.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy crafting, reading fiction, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature. These are the things that help me stay grounded, and I hope to help you or your child reconnect with what brings a sense of calm, joy, and purpose.

Reaching out can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do this alone. Whether you’re ready to begin or just exploring your options, I’m here to meet you where you are.
