About Me:

Welcome - I am so glad you’re here!

Imagine a space where your child feels safe to explore big feelings, your teen feels genuinely understood, or you feel grounded again in what brings you peace, joy, and meaning. Life is full of challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. As a counselor, I offer a supportive, down-to-earth space where healing and growth can unfold naturally at your pace and in your own way.

I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, life transitions, medical-related trauma, and emotional or behavioral struggles. I am especially passionate about working with neurodivergent clients and strive to provide affirming, strengths-based care that celebrates individuality.

Play therapy is at the heart of my work with children. Through creative, child-led play, kids can express themselves in the language they know best: play. This approach supports emotional regulation, builds self-esteem, and fosters healthy relationships. I’m a Certified AutPlay® Therapy Provider and use neurodiversity-affirming, playful interventions to meet each child where they are.

I also implement and am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and am currently obtaining my hours to become a Registered Play Therapist. With teens and adults, I combine talk therapy with creative approaches such as mindfulness, expressive arts, therapeutic games, and sand tray to encourage emotional insight, build regulation skills, and nurture self-compassion.

Before becoming a counselor, I worked in youth camps, schools, nonprofits, and a university recovery program. These experiences shaped my relational and creative approach to therapy. I bring warmth, humor, and genuine curiosity into the room and deeply value the trust clients place in me as they move through life’s vulnerable moments.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me crafting something colorful, getting lost in a good book, or hanging out with my adorable dogs. I offer in-person counseling for kids ages 5 and up, and virtual sessions for folks ages 12 and older. I’d be honored to walk alongside you or your child as you grow, heal, and feel more in control of your life!
