About Me:

Hello, I’m Lindsey! I am passionate about working with children, teens, and adults as they grow and navigate life’s challenges. I aim to create a warm, accepting connection where people feel safe to explore their inner world and are valued for who they are. I believe the genuine, authentic relationship developed in therapy allows people to gain a better understanding of themselves and work toward their goals.

With children, I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy, which allows children to express their emotions and experiences through their natural form of communication, play. This approach is ideal for children experiencing various challenges, from big feelings to difficult life experiences, such as divorce, illness, or grief. I believe including parents in the process is essential to creating lasting change, so we will work together to reduce your child’s challenges and enhance their existing strengths.

With adolescents and adults, I use Person-Centered Therapy to build a warm relationship rooted in empathy, acceptance, and understanding, fostering self-reflection and helping you achieve your goals. This approach speaks to my belief that you already have what you need to succeed within you. It would be my honor to help you on your journey.

I strongly believe that all people have an inherent goodness and a drive to grow and reach their potential. This has driven my path in life and, as a therapist, influenced the approaches I use. The deepest and most transformative healing occurs when someone feels truly accepted and understood. Delivering compassionate care that facilitates mental well-being, self-exploration, and personal growth to foster lifelong change is motivating and meaningful for me.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends, family, and pets – I have six! I spend my free time digging through record stores, reading, and painting my nails.

I would love to meet you and see if I might be a good fit for you or your child.
