About Me:

Hi, I’m Ashley!

My aim is to walk alongside you and your family with warmth, empathy, and a genuine belief in your ability to grow and heal. I offer counseling for individuals ages 3 and up, creating a safe space where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and always tailored to your unique needs.

For younger children, I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy, a research-backed method that allows children to express themselves through their natural language of play. Together, we’ll customize sessions to help your child build confidence, improve emotional regulation, and develop self-advocacy skills. I believe parent involvement is key to lasting growth, so I partner with caregivers to strengthen communication and deepen connections at home.

For older teens and adults, I apply Person-Centered Counseling tailored to your individual goals. Together, we may use artistic expression or mindfulness practices to support deeper self-reflection and strengthen emotional resilience. You possess the tools you need; my role is to help you access and trust them.

Through leading parent education groups, coaching Girls on the Run teams, counseling in Denton ISD, and being a parent myself, I have a unique understanding of the pain points facing both youth and parents today. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in distance running, reading, volunteering, and embracing life with my partner and three wonderful children. Participating in counseling changed my life, which is why I felt compelled to become a counselor. Let's do the hard work together, and I'll be with you every step of the way.

It’s not always easy to ask for help, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.
